Diane F. McSorley, MCSA, MCSE, MCT
Diane
has worked as a trainer for the last 15 years, it may not have
always been her "job-title", yet she was always the one sent to
learn new applications and train those around her. Diane says, "I
could never figure out what I wanted to be when I
grew up, but I knew I always enjoyed teaching. When the opportunity
came up to teach a session to a group, I took it. And after that
first session I was hooked! I really enjoy helping people understand
applications and technology and get such satisfaction when they tell
me that I have made it easy for them to understand and use."
Diane is a high-energy, quick-learning, confident professional with
an enthusiasm for technology. She has exceptional presentation,
communication, and organizational skills with natural ability to
break down and explain complex technical topics for maximum
comprehension to even beginning students.
Diane is a Microsoft Certified Instructor with expertise in teaching
beginner-to-expert levels in multiple applications and Microsoft
technical courses.
Diane holds the following Microsoft certifications: MCP, MCSA, MCSE
and MCT. She also holds Comptia’s A+. She worked as an instructor
for New Horizons Computer Learning Center Princeton in 2001 and 2002
and was named Instructor of the Year both years.
Being
brought up in the computer age, Nick has always had a
love of technology and the gift of learning it quickly.
After becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional in
1999, Nick worked in several IT departments offering one
to one tech support and network administration. After
achieving further certification from Microsoft in
Windows 2000 and 2000 Server, Nick turned to training in
the IT field. His practical, down to earth teaching
methods have struck a responsive chord with trainees the
world over.
"A well trained user who can customize applications
for their particular needs is by far the happiest user."
Emily Coltman, MA (Cantab) ACA
Emily is a Chartered Accountant by profession. She
qualified as an accountant in 2003 and spent the next
4 years working with accounts and tax for small
businesses, and realized that a lot of businesses had
problems that stemmed from poorly kept books. This
led her into specializing in training small business
owners to use bookkeeping software, and that in turn
led to her interest in building training videos.
At the moment she shares her time between making
videos and working as a subcontract accountant on a
freelance basis.
Emily believes firmly in the importance of plain
English and aims always to keep her videos free of guff!
